Hello, my name is Tiffany and I love quilts!
One of my 2020 quilting goals was to journal all the quilts that I've made. It's a work in progress! In the process of doing this, I discovered I made my first quilt in May 1995 - that means I've been quilting for 25 years!
I've enjoyed sharing my recent quilts on Instagram, but I want to go more in depth when I record the history of my quilts, so I started this blog to help me do that. I love reading the stories of other people's quilts, and I'd like to return the favor by sharing the stories behind my quilts, for those who are interested in reading about them.
There is a story from my family lore that probably explains a lot about me - when my sisters and I were growing up, every night at dinner we would share about our day. My older sister would go first and then I, the second child, would tell my family everything that happened during my day. My younger sisters like to joke that they never got a chance to talk at dinner because I used up all the time by giving my family a very detailed rundown of my day. Even now while telling stories, I feel like I must cover every detail and provide all the backstory and context! I should probably have called this blog the "Too Many Details" blog!
